A Superman sculpture was being created at the same time as the Batman sculpture so we were asked to take a look.
This consisted of a steel frame with human-like joints which allowed the sculpture could move up and down like Superman.
The final installation would have a model of Superman lifting a helicopter with the assistance of visitors. The weight of the helicopter would structurally be taken on the truss/ pulley system hidden behind.
Because of this, the sculpture was non-structural and so a 3D model did not need to be created.
