Let’s be honest, everyone likes cake and when better to treat yourself than on your birthday. It is with great pride I share with you that on the 6th April SSA will be 11 years old. And how appropriate that if we mark this day as an anniversary, we would be celebrating with a gift of steel.

The traditional material for the 11th anniversary is steel, with its strength and durability embodying the lasting nature of this ‘marriage’ which is about to embark upon a second decade.

Well over the last couple of years SSA has certainly shown its strength and durability and we will continue to do so as we embark upon our second decade. I am hugely proud of my team and all their hard work. This year, thankfully, we will be able to celebrate together with cake, but perhaps I will not gift them with a steel beam each – we will save those for our structural designs 😊
